Arles is located in the center of Provence.  It is very historic and parts of which were built by the Romans, the outdoor theater and the arena still exist.  It is a very quaint town and one of our favorite to make home base when exploring the Provence region. The Saturday market is one the largest in Provence and extends for 2 miles. It will take you hours to explore and do all your shopping.  You can buy just about anything from food to clothing to household items.
